Where are you located?
Bayview, Napier. In the sunny Hawkeβs Bay region!
How far advance should I order?
It is best to order as soon as possible, some people order up to 6 months in advance, especially around the summer months when we can become fully booked. I am a one man band and can only complete a certain amount of cakes every week.
Can I make an urgent order?
We will always try our best to accommodate all of your requests, please give us an email eatitlikekeiki@outlook.com and we get back to you ASAP.
Do you ship your cakes?
Unfortunately not at the moment. However if you would like to travel to another city with one of our cakes please pop us an email at eatitlikekeiki@outlook.com and we will make a plan with you regarding the best way to travel with one of our cakes long distance.
Do you make allergen free cakes?
Yes, we have a dairy-free cake option. However, all our cakes are made in a commercial kitchen which handles other allergens, so even though we take every precaution to create an allergen free cake we cannot 100% guarantee there will not be traces of other allergens,
How do I cancel my order?
If you need to cancel your online order please ensure you give us at least 2 weeks notice, cancellations with the appropriate notice will receive a refund minus a $50 admin fee. Any cancellation requests after this period will be voided.
Can I postpone my order?
Should you need to postpone your order, please let us know as soon as possible. We are only able to accept postponements with at least 5 days notice AND if we have the appropriate availabilty on your newly requested date. If we are unable to accomadate your posponement no refunds will be given and we will 1. make your cake on the original date. 2. offer store credit. Any postponements within 5 days of the order will be considered as cancellations.
Can I get a refund or credit once I have picked up my cake?
Once your order has been picked up / handed over for delivery we cannot accept any responsibilty. Should you be unhappy with your order your must tell us at the time of handover. We will not accept any refund requests for design once the cake has left the pickup premises. Should a refund be requested due to the quality of flavour, this will be determined once the order has been returned to our premise at the customers expense to be examined. We will not refund consumed goods.
In the event of a natural disaster, pandemic, nationwide emergencies beyond our control, refunds will not be provided on any payments made towards your order unless in accordance with our refund policies.
